What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain, Vomiting And Bloating?
My niece has be seen having a very uncomfortable dull pain in her upper abdomen with occasional vomiting. She s feeling very bloated and like something is stuck or undigested food. The other night she suffered with chills. I suggested it might be a gallbladder problem. My email is YYYY@YYYY
Abdominal pain, vomiting, bloating, and chills can be due to a viral infection. This is the case, especially if she is young, and has had these symptoms for a few days. If she is around 40 years old or more and her abdominal pain is for longer than a week the gallbladder can be considered but in this case, the pain is mostly in the upper right abdominal area.
If her symptoms last more than a week or if she is not better in a few days or is any worse, she will need a visit with the doctor and if necessary the doctor will order an ultrasound examination to check the gallbladder.
I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.
