What Causes Upper Arm And Shoulder Pain?

I got the PVC 13 injection on Tuesday because I am having ear implant surgery on Thursday March 30th. On Tuesday night the arm and shoulder where I got the injection (right arm) was painful all night. the next day (Wednesday) both upper arms and shoulders started hurting. Today both shoulders and arms are still hurting, and the pain seem to be getting worst. Should I be worried and should I go to the doctor or do you think that it will go away in a few days?

This is an extremely important vaccination in your case as you will have an increase risk on pneumococcal invasive infection once you have your era implant surgery. No worry at all. Remember that you should also gave the 23 serotype pneumococcal vaccine at least 8 weeks after the PVC 13
