What Causes Upper Arm Pain And Dizziness After Breast Reduction Surgery?
I am having left upper arm discomfort,,,it feels vascular...I had a breast reduction one year ago and my left arm circulation? feels different ...I exercise regularly and have no pain with exercise my Dr checked me and all was ok but my left arm still has discomfort intermittently also experiencing occasional dizziness... Thx YYYY@YYYY
You need to visit a neurologist. Since you exercise with no problems the issue is probably not vascular. After surgery, a nerve could have been irritated causing your symptoms in the hand. Symptoms could rise from the cervical spine too. So, electrophysiology studies (nerve conduction studies) are needed, plus cervical MRI. For the dizziness, you need to elaborate more on timing and exacerbating factors to be able to advise on it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ahmad Nazzal, General & Family Physician
