Cause of upper right quadrant chest pain is commonly due to appendicitis, choleycystitis, cholangitis, hepatitis, acid reflux or gastritis, etc. Other causes are trauma, rib fractures, severe anxiety, stress and panic attacks.
In case you experience shortening of breath, it can be due to some developing heart ailment. Visit ER, at the earliest. Get clinically examined and assessed. Get all required blood, Urinalysis and imaging tests done.
Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected and severity of your clinical symptoms. In the meantime, take antacids and spasmol, one SOS when required for relief.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
