What Causes Urethral Bleeding While On Medication For Hypertension?

My father just noticed blood from his pee hole, he is 86 and on med for diabetes blood pressure etc obviously he is nervous, it has never happened before he feels no discomfort but it looks as if he nicked the tip with something which he didn t do what should we do?

Hi, I think you can c9nsult a urologist for complete evaluation. Get a urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any infection. Also get a ultrasound done to see the kidneys, ureter and bladder to rule out any other problems. Hope it helps.
