What Causes Urge For Frequent Urination And Discomfort In Penis Post Intercourse?
hi doctor. 3 days ago i had protected oral and vaginal sex with a sex worker. In the last couple of days, I have had an increased sense of a need to urinate, going several more times a day than normal. sometimes the feeling comes as soon as i have just urinated. further, there is a small chafing feeling in my groin . it started when i was cycling home from work. it was warm out and i was wearing loose underwear and trousers so that may be the case there. also, there is a tingling sensation i feel around the tip of my penis. I m very aware of it, whereas normally I m not. Could this be the sign of an STD or is this anxiety induced? I am in a very commited relationship and I made a mistake. Thanks for your time.

If you were in a very committed relationship you would have never had intercourse with a sex worker. Having said that, increased frequency to urinate might be a sign of urinary tract infection although it necessarily does not have to be an STD.
Two days is too early for an infectious disease to manifest fully. I would suggest you to note if you develop any skin lesion in the next few days.
I would suggest seeking medical attention in a hospital if you develop fever, skin lesions, pain or blood in urine. Till then you are fine and can take norfloxacin 500mg as a presumptive treatment of Urinary tract infection.
