What Causes Urge Incontinence?

I’m a 60 year old male and for several months have been having the urge to pea frequently and have a good stream when I do pea but not very much comes out and it hurts when I first start to pea but goes away as I continue praying. I’ve tested my blood glucose levels on a glucometer and it seems to be in the normal range. Can you help me understand what could be happening or causing this?

Hello,

You may have Prostatomegaly, so because of that, you are having all these symptoms. a condition called BPH (Benign prostate hypertrophy).

Kindly get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out the above condition.

If it is there, then the medical line of treatment is better started and if it is worse, then we can go for the surgical line. Please get back to us with reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
