What Causes Urinary Incontinence After Taking Flotral Tablet?
I am having freqent urination problem I am taking Flotral for prostate and consequently deveoped frequent urination problem so doctor prescribed Cital syrup how long I have to take this if I stop taking then what will hapen to my frequent urination problem?
Hello Thanks for query .Based on the facts that you have posted It seems that you have been diagnosed to have Enlarged Prostate and prescribed Flotral .
The frequency for urination that you have is basically primarily due to bladder outlet obstruction due to enlarged prostate .
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis with specific mention of Post Void Residual urine in bladder . 3) Serum PSA. 4) Uroflowmetry .
In the mean while take antibiotic like Cefixime and urinary anti spasmodic like Flavoxate twice daily and continue taking Flotral once daily .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
