What Causes Urinary Incontinence And Chest Tightness While On Lasix?

Hello.. I AM 61 YEARS OLD FEMALE..I HAVE HAD GOUT 3 TIMES IN MY FOOT IN A VERY SHORT TIME. I DO TAKE LASIX EVERY DAY AND FEEL LIKE I am not peeing as I should be AND chest feeling very tight. What else could I TAKE for the Ulrich acid. I am looking into some herbal pills to take.

Hi. welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have read your question and here is my advice.

Its a bit confusing that you are using Furosemide for gout . in fact it is not of any use in gout rather it can be a cause of increased uric acid causing gout .So I thing you need to see your doctor may be he need change this drug for not her drugs that can better treat the high uric acid. They would also assess u for what could be the cause of your chest tightness .
