What Causes Urinary Incontinence In An Elderly?

Hello, my Buddy is 80 yrs of age and in the last week he has been having incidents in his pants. From what he tells me, it s without warning. It appears to be the runs, and a glass of water can trigger it. He is diabetic and on serval other meds, what could his issue be?
