Hello Bob and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, i can advise you, that nocturnal frequency in people with prostate gland enlargement, is a problem. You're advised to maintain drinking 8-10 glasses of fluids daily. But take only one glass water after supper. Rest of the intake should be during day time, when you're awake. The poorer stream at night, is due to the obstruction by prostate gland, with less urine volume. Tamflo and Saw Palmetto only gives some relief to flow, but doesn't give dramatic change in flow pattern. You should check your PSA, creatinine and urine culture. If you want my expert opinion on any doubt, you can send it as a direct question to me. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
