What Causes Urinary Retention?

I have had urinary track infections before, and it seems like that but worse I feel like I have to urinate but only a few drops come out and it hurts really bad. I ve taken cranberry concentrate pills and am drinking cranberry juice. So far it s not getting better it just started this morning

Based on the description it appears that you need to be evaluated for difficulty in passing urine.
Kindly get the following tests done.
1. Urea and creatinine level in serum.
2. Urine routine examination.
3. Urine culture and sensitivity.
4. Ultrasound scan of abdomen to know the status of kidneys and urinary tract.
Kindly consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and management.
