Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 7 year old daughter is basically living on the toilet. She states that she feels like she has to pee all the time, when she sits on the toilet she is fine but as soon as she stands up and pulls her underwear up she feels like she has to go again. Went to the Dr. Tuesday and UA was clean, when she is off the toilet she is constantly moving around doing a potty dance . Have been using baking soda baths and creams and even antifungals per NP direction but NOTHING is helping. She says that she feels uncomfortable...I don t know what else to do, she has a full blown kicking screaming crying panic attack when she is not near a toilet.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think your daughter is having problems with urinary pathways. I highly recommend further diagnostic tests:
- Complete blood count
- Urine analysis
- Urine culture and sensitivity testing
- Abdominal ultrasound and ultrasound of urinary pathways
Urologist to consult further to check her urinary pathways and understand why she is having this urge incontinence.
Hope this helps.
