hello. I am 19 years old I weigh about 100 pounds and out of blue when I moved to Tennessee I started having dreams about me peeing or something in my dream scares me and I end up peeing on myself in the dream as if I was a scared dog or something. And of course when I wake up its urine in my bed. it frustrates me because of my age and its embarrassing as well. I use to pee in the bed all the time when I was little but I stopped for a couple years and now I feel like its starting back up again. I ve researched something s and I was told it could be stress and It could be true but I just don t want to go through this anymore I need help
There are many factors related to bed-wetting. It can be stress, an urinary tract infection, drinking too much caffeine. I suggest to avoid caffeine and have a healthy lifestyle. I also suggest to avoid drinking liquids two hours before bed. You should not be worried, it will probably pass over time.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
