Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Urination With Loose Stools After Food And Drink Other Than Diabetics?
I recently have had been diagnosed with dehydration, but when labs were done noted by Doctor that I was spilling sugar in my urine, I have never been diabetic, nor anyone in my family. I eat & drink then few minutes after this have to go to bathroom to urinate & each with loose or formed stool. Not diarrhea. What is happening that could cause this?
The symptoms can be connected by a urinary tract infection (UTI), which also causes protein in the urine. UTI causes frequent urination. Some times, the inflammation of the urinary organs in UTI may rub off on the rectum, the lower part of the intestine causing frequent evacuation of stools.
The best thing for you to do is to visit your primary care doctor for urine tests to detect what organism is responsible for the infection and the best antibiotics to be prescribed.
I hope I have answers your question,
Best wishes.
