What Causes Urine Leakage On Coughing?

I am having bladder leakage but not when I cough--usually while sleeping or standing. I had a urinary track infection in December and had a urinalysis and a procedure (Cysto?). Everything was fine but is the leakage normal after an infection or should I have another test?

I understood your query.

You told you have bladder leakage following a urinary tract infection.

You do not leak following coughing.

This type leakage is called transient incontinence.

This type incontinence is common following a urinary tract infection.

For overcoming this the treatment of urinary tract infection is essential.

Take tablet Norfloxacin 400 mg twice a day, along with urine alkaizer like Renalka 2 tea spoon ful (10 ml) with a glass of water. Take plenty of fluid of water. Maintain hygiene over the genital area. You can have tab. dicyclomine 10 mg for relief from pain.
