What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After A Tubal Ligation?

I had a tubal ligation after my daughter was born......they put the springs in my tubes I just started my period and normally I have minimal pain but the pain and cramps are really bad and the other night before my period started I heard a Crack like something broke......is it possible that the spring has come loose from having sex?

Hi,

Though the springs may not have become loose, it is possible that there was some change in position or there may be an infection present which is contributing to your pain.

It would be best to be assessed by your doctor to see if an infection or change in the material is present. Imaging by ultrasound may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
