I lost my virginity two weeks ago and was safe, I bled a bit, then I did it again two days later, and bled a bit again and then did it again three days later and still bled a bit. Will I ever stop? is this bad? also I haven t gotten my period which i was supposed to get a week ago and two days after that last time I had sex... I haven t gotten it. I was safe and should be fine, he didn t even ejaculate either time cause we were scared. what does this mean? is it true loosing your virginity can change your cycle? help!
Bleeding takes place when one loses virginity during intercourse due to breakage of membranous tissue inside vagina called 'hymen'. However, bleeding can happen on subsequent occasions if there is injury to the remnants of hymen still being persistent inside. Gradually, such bleeding should stop completely. If it continues, you need to undertake per vaginal and per speculum examination by consulting Gynecologist to know what could be the cause, so that it can be treated accordingly.
Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
