I ve been on birth control for about 2 years. Ive recently started break through bleeding after me and my partner have intercourse. It s always before my period and after he have sex, and it s been happening months in a row. It looks like implantion bleeding but I always end up getting my period. I have no other symptoms of pregnancy but this. I contacted a doctor when this first started and was told I might have to go up in doseage because I started weight lifted about 4 months ago but it stopped after I got into a routine. But it s back this month. I don t know what it is or what to do
Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular bleeding. Hope it helps.
