What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hi I m having problems with my scar tissue from pregnancy at my vaginal opening. Every time my boyfriend and I have intercourse, I start bleeding and the scar tissue tears. It s been 4 years since I had a kid and we are by no means rough. Why does it do this?

Bleeding you experience after vaginal intercourse at the scar tissue from pregnancy is due to any problem with weakness of scar tissue there. I think your gynecologist should see that and decide if you need any intervention to repair what's damaged there. We should also rule out possible post-partum complications as this has been going on 4 years after your last giving birth. So, should see OG specialist as soon as possible. Avoid any vaginal intercourse until you see this specialist.
