What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?
i am a 23yr old female,with a history of childhood cancer when i was 3, and i no longer have my thyroid. i weigh 114 and am 4'7". i had sex for the first time a little over a year ago and have not had intercoarse since up until about a week ago. my boyfriend and i started having intercoarse and noticed that there was blood on the condom afterward and would bleed lightly for only about 5 minutes. i am not sure why this is happening

Bleeding during intercourse can have several causes like rough intercourse, infections of the vagina and the cervix, erosions of the cervix, polyps and finally, new growths. You should get a proper evaluation by an expert through a clinical exam, hormonal profile, sonogram, blood counts and urinalysis, pap smear and a vaginal swab.
