What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Missing Contraceptive Pills?

I have started taking kimidess birth control this is my first week . I did a Sunday start because I was supposed to get my period on Sunday however my period did not come. I continued taking them anyways. I missed Thursday and Friday plus Saturday s pill/today. However I started bleeding today. Is it breakthrough bleeding or my period?

Hello

yes, it's a beakthrough bleeding after sopped OC pills. Breakthrough bleeding mainly cause due to decreased level of progesteron. So never miss tablets, you have to continue it daily irrespective of period or days after gynaecologist consultation.
