What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Ovulation?

Please doctor I have been having vaginal bleeding since my last day of ovulation after having sex with my husband. I went to see my gynea who asked me to go for USS, after the USS they said that there was fluid in my pelvis which indicates that I might have Pelvic inflammatory infection They gave me some antibiotics which lasted for 10days. I took the drugs religiously but I was still spotting blood when my menstruation started, today is the seventh day Since my menstruation Started and I Still noticed some blood stains in my pants, Please doctor Can you tell what is actually wrong with me

After taking a course of prescribed antibiotics, if you are still experiencing spotting and bleeding, you need to take another ultrasound scan and see for the response to the medications. If the inflammation has subsided, then such symptoms would subside gradually by taking certain supportive measures. If the infection still persists, then you may require another course of antibiotics. Kindly consult Gynecologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
