What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking I Pill?

Hi. I'm 24 years old and have had irregular periods(1 week early or delay) since the beginning, which i consulted a doctor for and was told i don't really need to take medication. my last period was 15 days ago. I took an ipill 7 days ago, about 3 hours after intercourse (because i thought the condom tore) and have been experiencing bleeding since today morning. is this normal?

Hi,

Morning after pill or Emergency pill has fewer side effects like stomach pain, dizziness, headache, breast pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea etc. Also it affects your regular cycle due to the hormonal combination in the pill. your symptom of bleeding after intake of emergency pill is common. if the symptoms didn’t stop within few days. Consult your doctor for further assistance.
