What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Morning After Pill?
I had unprotected sex two weeks ago but swallowed a morning after pill that very day the next week I started bleeding but it wasn t like my usual mensuration I was constantly cramping though the pain was bearable but the flow was irregular n had a Strong unpleasant smell the bleeding stopped but now every time I urinate there is blood. What could be wrong with me I took a pregnancy test and it turned out negative
Blood on urination (hematuria) is most commonly related to an infection of the urinary tract though there are other causes as well.
This can be determined by a urine analysis at your doctor's office. Your doctor may also opt to send a sample of urine to the lab but this is not usually necessary.
If infection is confirmed , then a course of antibiotics would be needed for treatment. If no infection is present then your doctor would need to check for other causes of hematuria eg urinary stone, trauma, mass in the urinary tract, bleeding disorder.
I hope this helps
