What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Postinor-2 Tablets?
I took postinor 2 d second day after my period because I had unprotected sex a day before and saw my period the next day took d pill a day after and my period was suppose to finish since on Saturday buh till now am still having little bleeding what do you think is wrong plz,

Postinor 2 contains levonorgestrel, a female natural sex hormone called progesterone that acts as an emergency contraceptive and used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses when taken within 3 days of unprotected sexual encounters. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own.
It may cause prolonged, missed or heavy bleeding, vaginal discharge, irregular vaginal bleeding, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods etc. These side effects are mild as well as self limiting and usually go away over time without any medical treatment. But If these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor first for medical help.

There are some common side-effects of taking contraceptive pills, as these contraceptive pills contains artificial hormones to prevent pregnancy hence they disturb the normal hormonal function in some cases which further leads to excessive bleeding. This may last for one or 2 months if it last more you should consult a gynecologist.
