What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Using Estrace Vaginal Cream?

I have some vaginal bleeding and have been using estrace vaginal cream for about 1 year. Side effects can be bleeding or uterine cancer. I just had a Pap test last month and everything came back normal. My doctor is requesting a pelvic ultrasound. What could she be looking for besides the uterine cancer?

Hi, I think she will be looking for endometrial thickness. If it is more than 4 mm, you may need an endometrial biopsy to rule out endometrial carcinoma. Pap test will not tell you about endometrial carcinoma. So, you should go for an ultrasound as advised by your doctor.
