Hi, i am 39 y/o, no children, regular (but painful/heavy) periods and went to gynecologist given i had bleedings/cramping in between my periods after intercourse(no pain during intercourse).

Gyn report was as following:

Uterus: 6.46 cm L X 6.19cm W X 5.46H The Volume was 114.318 cm3 and Endometrium thickness 15.87mm
Left Ovary: 3.22 cm L X 3.6 cm W X 2.10 cm H. The Volume was 12.746 cm3 and a clear cyst of 3.1 cm on the left ovary was visible. Lt Cyst D1 3.15 cm and Lt Cyst D2 2.12 cm
Right Ovary: 2.31 cm L X 2.36 W X 1.73 H The Volume was 4.938cm3

Other comments included in the report: transvaginal scan, uterus normal, endometrium normal, right ovary normal, left ovary has clear cyst 3.1 cm, no adnexal mass seen and no fluid in pod

I am pretty worried about the endometrium thickness and volume of the uterus rather than being worried about the clear cyst on my left ovary. What does such a thickness indicate at my age? Why was i bleeding/cramping after intercourse?
