What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Along With Passing Blood Clot During Pregnancy?

Hi my Names De Asha I m 27 weeks pregnant and I been having bleeding problems my whole pregnancy I was recently hospitalized for a week and they said my placenta maybe detaching or a possible blood clot ....so they let me go because my bleeding had stopped now for the last 4 days I ve been bleeding and just recently a trip to the bathroom I passed a blood clot slightly bigger than a quarter....should I go back to the hospital...

Hi,

There are 2 reasons for passing blood during pregnancy. One is placenta previa and other one is abruptio placentae. Notice for abdominal pain with bleeding, do follow up with an MRI.
