What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain Post Intercourse?
Hello Doctor. I used Betadine douche a day after my period and had sex later in the night. I started bleeding soon after having sex. Then my stomach started to bloat the next day and I had sharp severe abdominal pain and bleeding. I felt like I was going to pass out. I am still experiencing the lower abdominal pain and a pulling pain on my bellybutton. Please advise me on how to stop the bleeding and the pain. The blood is red at times and brownish at other times it s not flowing out but I see it when I wipe with a tissue. Thank you.
Keeping the area moisturized with peanut butter will also help. You can also start taking methylcobalaminsupplements and see if it helps. Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
If there is no improvement, get swab test and it is fungus, take vaginal pessary and oral intake of flucanazole.. Keep the area dry and clean.. Avoid excessive use of soap.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon

What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain Post Intercourse?
Hi, Considering these symptoms it may be caused by STD if there was recent intercourse.Another causes include is decreased levels of estrogen. If premarin is not helping then it can be related to decreased levels of Vitamin B12 or a mild nerve root compression at the level of sacral spine.
