What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain While On Junel Fe 1/20?
I am taking junel fe 1/20 for first time. I was facing irregular periods and my doctor subscribes the medicine. Its my first month of taking this medicine. I am experiencing slightly more bleeding (changing 2-3 pads per day). I experience slight stomach and abdominal pain. Is it normal? In the first month, i saw spottings of blood in secpnd week. Bt the end of second week and start of third week I am experiencing slightly more bleeding. Im in my fourth week now. My doctor told this will happen for first month. Is it normal?
Certainly, some of them would experience such side effects like intermittent spotting and bleeding disturbances while taking oral contraceptives for the first time. Such symptoms might continue for about 2 to 3 months before it gets stabilized. Kindly continue the pills regularly as scheduled.
However, if such symptoms continue to bother you even after 3 months, you might need a change in the oral contraceptives which would suit you. In such a case, you need to consult Obstetrician for appropriate advice and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
