What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Menstrual Cramping During Pregnancy?

Hello , I am 9weeks pregnant & I ve been having cramping for 3days now. It feels like menstrual cramps to me .I just went to use the rest room & I saw blood on the toilet tissue .A few weeks ago when I was 5 weeks & 6 days , I had an threatened miscarriage.So the Emergency room put me on bedrest & pelvic rest . Could this be a full on miscarriage ? Please Answer

Hello,

Since you already had threatened miscarriage and have been advised bed rest, you should have continued to be in bed rest. You should have avoided having sex all through bed rest. Vaginal bleeding associated with abdominal cramping is indicative of miscarriage. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist. Get USG uterus done to detect the cause of bleeding, Sometimes bleeding occurs due to placenta previa (attachment of placenta near the cervix of the uterus). Stay at rest till the causative factor is detected.
