My 42 yr old daughter has been taking Gabapentin for about a month, 300 mg for pain relief. She has a history of vaginal Rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 15 mos. Had 50 radiation treatments and 2 yrs of chemo. Last Fri she started having vaginal bleeding even though she has never had a period. An ultra sound a number of yrs. ago did not show any female organs. They were very atrophied. Today the bleeding has increased and she is feeling a lot of bladder pressure. She is waiting to get an appt. with an oncologist ASAP. Could there be any problem with taking this new med causing the bleeding? I am sorry but being a senior citizen with multiple health problems I cannot afford to pay even $15.00. I have to wait for my SS in Oct. to pick up meds that I need now.
