What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During 34 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hello, My name is Robin. I was wondering if it is time to go to the hospital or not because I have been leaking a yellow discharge from my vagina, and I have noticed a small spot of blood once early this morning? I am 34 weeks pregnant. The doctor told me that I have no infections because they tested for that at my last doctor visit.

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Bleeding or bloody show in the mid or late terms of pregnancy might be due to few conditions like intercourse, post- per vaginal examination, infections, placental conditions etc.

I advice you to watch for bleeding again, also pain or contractions in future. Also consult your gynaecologist for examination & USG to check the fetal status & further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
