What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Bowel Movement?
Hi, today I noticed some vaginal bleeding during bowel movement and I am not sure what is the cause. When I whipped the blood was light pink but when I flushed the toilet I saw that the blood in it was red. I noticed it was coming from my vagina and not my rectum and I am afraid that I might be pregnant. I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend today but he didn t put it inside it was mostly just a lot of rubbing and he didn t cum near me but I don t know if re-cum might have been the cause. I am also off my birth control but I have been off it for about 2 weeks now. I don t know what caused this, I just know that the blood was all gone by the time I was finished whipping and I hope that I am not pregnant.
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bleeding after Intercourse can be due to rough Intercourse that can lead to minor abrasions in vagina which van lead to bleeding, it can also be due to local lesions in cervix and vagina including cancer of cervix. Pregnancy cannot be detected so early, immediately after Intercourse I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get proper examination, investigation including pap smear and get appropriate treatment. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Neeraj Kumar
