i have had abnormal bleeding for the last couple months, mostly occurring during sex. i am not pregnant but in the last two years have experienced hormonal issues (got off the pill due to breakthrough bleeding and started to experience irregular periods, fast weight gain and bad acne all in the first couple months of being off the pill which finally got better a year later) and have had an ultrasound to look for cycsts a year ago and came back with nothing. all annual exams come back normal. i m not sure if there s an easy fix for this bleeding during sex - could it be related to hormonal imbalance that birth control (thinking IUD this time around) could solve or help?
