Hello and welcome to HCM, Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy is indicative of threatened or missed abortion. Passage of tissue pieces along with blood clots is suggestive of missed or onset of threatened abortion. The tissue pieces which you are passing need to be collected for histopathological examination. Ultrasound of the lower abdomen needs to be done to assess the products of conception in the uterine cavity. In case the products of conception are still retained in the uterine cavity, they can be removed by dilatation and curettage.
Consult your gynecologist without delay.
