Hello,
I read your message carefully and understood your medical problem.
Vaginal
bleeding during pregnancy is very common especially in the first trimester and usually, there is no reason for alarm. But sometimes it can be a sign of something serious and a doctor consultation maybe is necessary. Causes are very important to know in order to seek medical attention before it is too late.Around 20% of women experience vaginal bleeding in the first trimester.
Bleeding because of
implantation happens in the first 6 to 12 days of pregnancy which means earlier in pregnancy.Cervical changes cause bleeding that is not a concern at all. During pregnancy extra blood flows to the
cervix and sex or a pap test may trigger bleeding easily.
Miscarriage is very alarming but if it is not associated with other symptoms like strong cramps in lower abdomen there is unlikely for a miscarriage to happen. An
ultrasound examination is necessary. If baby heartbeats are present in the US the bleeding does not have much meaning. Ectopic pregnancy and other forms of abnormal pregnancy developments like molar pregnancy are serious causes that need urgent medical attention.
Genital infection is possible but this is usually present with skin lesions and in your case, it is unlikely to be the cause.
My advice is to pay attention to next episodes of vaginal bleeding. If you will bleed more in the next days and other symptoms will appear like
abdominal pain please go to ER as soon as you can. If the bleeding will not happen any more than there is nothing to worry about.
Hope this is helpful for you.
Thank you.
