Do you have any idea what s going on?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is true that you are experiencing a threatened abortion in view of the painless bleeding. Given the past history of an abortion, extra care is to be exercised. You can get a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route to detect the viability of the pregnancy because the fetal cardiac activity can be made out by 6 weeks through a trans-vaginal sonogram. Serial serum beta-hCG titres also help to know the progress of the pregnancy; doubling of titres every 2-3 days suggests good progress. Please take rest in bed, avoid all strenuous activity including sexual intercourse and get regular follow up. Progesterone supplements may be taken if hormone deficiency is detected. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
