What Causes Vaginal Bleeding In An Elderly Person?

Hi I have a question. I m 52yrs of age and I haven t seen my period over a year and three month. Just four days ago it came down. I remember that my gyn Doctor told me if it doesn t appear within a year so then is gone. Like I said it was one year n three month it came back. It this normal. Also I fainted on the second day of the cycle.

During attainment of menopause, some of them might experience such type of abnormalities in frequency of bleeding. However, it such episodes needs to be evaluated to rule out other causes of vaginal bleeding.
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done.
Promptly consult Gynecologist with the report for per speculum and clinical examination to know what could be the cause. Accordingly, appropriate treatment could be instituted.
