What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Intake Of Femilan Pill?
i had my last period on 8.06.2015.I took one femilan pill on 18.06.2015.Today am seeing some blood. Could hat be pregnancy spotting or is it me periods..I am sexually active.I took a pregnancy test on 24.062015 and it was negative...Am i pregnant? Irene
No, you are not pregnant. Femilon have some undesired side effects like menstrual irregularities, inter-menstrual bleeding etc. As you abruptly discontinued the pill you might have a withdrawal bleeding. Now that your menstrual cycle is some what irregular, we cannot accurately calculate your expected cycle duration at this point of time. In most cases, the cycle returns to normal within 2-3 months and then you can begin to calculate your cycle as you previously did. Meanwhile You can adopt alternate methods like use of condom while having sexual activity. So do not worry. Just follow this advice.
