What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Menstruation?

I m 48 and my periods have gotten heavier over the last few years. The past year they ve been irregular in how many days in between. This month, my period stopped then 7 days later started again but very lightly. Is this menopause starting....or normal?

dear patient .......50 or above is usualy the age for menopause .....but fot different humans it is change as every female has a different hormone system so maybe menopause is starting for u earlier there is no need to get worried the dates can change as wel as ur periods can become heavier or lighter depending also they can come after a long gap or they can come more frequently ........you just take healthy and regular diet and add some multivitamins and calcium containg supplements in your diet and do regular excercise to make your bones strong
