What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Menstruation?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 10 months now. I have not been on birth control for the last year. Usually. My periods are 3-4 days in a 29 day cycle. This month, my period came a day early. I bled for 4 days. Then today, 5 days after it stopped, I noticed pink when I wiped at the bathroom. The flow increased. Now I am bleeding very lightly and it is bright red. I m worried that I am defective since we haven t been able to get pregnant and his sperm count was normal. Any idea what is wrong and why I m bleeding again? I ve never bled twice. Carmen

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Abnormal vaginal bleeding spot can be cause by pregnancy. First you should take Bhcg urine test for pregnancy. If it negative you should think about more other problems. You may need to see a doctor if your vaginal bleeding still continue long time or start heavy bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
