What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Normal Menstrual Cycle?
I had my period on the 6th December and finished on the 13th. I recently had unprotected sex(we don't ever use protection) with my bf on 28th December. After about 3 hours I felt things running from my vagina but thought it was just his cum. However when I went to pee I saw a bit of blood on my panty liner to which was brownish first then turned light pink (this has never happened before) so I figure it was just from having intercourse. However the next day the blood continued but it was not heavy it was light pink. Then it ended on the 30th. What can this mean?

Most common cause of pink spotting or light pink bleeding after having sex is bleeding from cervix ( the lower part of uterus). Cervix has high blood supply & Even when cervix is healthy, vigorous sex can cause some bleeding. This mostly occurs when you have vaginal dryness or less vaginal lubrication.
However bleeding from cervix can be because of some abnormality in cervix. In case of cervix abnormality, even gentle sex in presence of enough vaginal lubrication could cause bleeding.
So Pink spotting could be a sign of cervix abnormality. Cervix abnormality arises after a sexual transmitted infection like HPV. If you have never got a pap smear test done previously, You are advised a pap smear to ruleout a cervix problem.
Refer to a gynaecologist.
