What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Implanon?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Implanon and other such modes of contraception have a common side effect that you are experiencing. What you are experiencing is called breakthrough bleeding. Though it is harmless but a common cause for people to stop using the mode of contraception. You should consult your OBGYN (gynecologists) if this persists. If it doesn t, continue with it. Use pads when you are bleeding. Migraine and anxiety are probably unrelated. Do not get worried about the bleeding. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan
