What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While Suffering From Endometrial Hyperplasia?

I am in menopause. to treat endometrial thickening I was taking progesterone for 4 month. During that time I had monthly bleeding (which is normal) Doctor told me to stop. I did not have bleeding for 2 month. This month I start bleeding again. Is this normal? or I have problem.

Hi,

You may not have attained menopause yet if you have your monthly periods. With endometrial hyperplasia and if you are above 50 years of age it's wise to see your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prakruthi, General & Family Physician
