What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While Suffering From Endometrial Hyperplasia?

Hello, I am 42 and have endometrial hyperplasia and a 5 cm big cyst in my ovary. I have been talking Norethisterone (10 mg a day) for a months now. I has stopped my bleeding (which was on for 12 weeks), but now I have a light bleeding. Is that normal at this stage? I have to take it for 3 months and than go back to my doctor, but I am not sure if I should bleed now. I am very concerned about that.

Hi I think you should go for an endometrial biopsy if not done already. Also get a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to see the size of cyst. Get a CA125 level done. You can continue taking norethisterone tablets along with tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to rule out any other cause of irregular periods. Hope it helps.
