What Causes Vaginal Bleeding With Abdominal Pain Post Periods?
I have been experience abnormal vaginal bleeding with abdominal pain for the last 2 days. Feeling concerned. Just got off my menstrul cycle 10 days ago. Something doesn t feel right. Feeling a little concerned. Any advice and insight would be greatly appreciated at this time.
* The vaginal bleed with abdomen pain indicate possible vaginal infection with hormone changes.
My guidelines at present
- vaginal douching with antiseptic liquid
- plenty of liquids to avoid urinary infection
- abstinence from vaginal sex ( if active )
- antispasmodic medication as dicyclomine or drotaverine for pain relief
* Observe for next 48 hours, if bleeding persists, consult your OBGY or primary care physician for further assistance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
