What Causes Vaginal Blood Discharge During The Second Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hi I am 14 weeks pregnant and I have been sick coughing a lot. I just woke up to the feeling of some discharge being !et down. I went to the bathroom and there was red blood in my urine. It wasn't clotty but red. Is it possible that is was a burst cyst. I know I have one on the left side from where the egg released.

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Blood discharge is not expected during pregnancy. Get a ultrasound done to see for fetal well being.It can't be a burst cyst. It can be due to placenta previa or subchorionic haemorrhage. You may need some injections of progesterone and complete bed rest. Hope it helps.
