Hi, i recently did a pap smear screen and the health personnel said i have vaginal candidiasis that has spread to my cervix...ive been on fluconazole treatment for a while but the symptoms only stop n recurr again....vaginal care is also good....what possibly could b the treatment....im worried

A swab should be considered, there are some forms of candida that are resistant to the usual therapy.
Though the smear may have given some indication of the candida's presence, it would not identify the specific type or show which medications are resistant and which would be effective.
